Our InnoFamily.

Who are we?

Innovative Design is USC's premiere creative agency club! We are a community of designers, photographers, and web developers utilizing our skills to support other student organizations and local businesses.

Dedicated to spreading design education and social impact, we launch professional development initiatives and design thinking with a focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion.

What we do.

We provide services for student organizations at USC and private businesses in the Los Angeles community.

Each of our design, photo, and web teams are matched with clients, delivering high-quality work by collaborating with one another and their client.

As a tight-knit community, we hold fun social events, retreats, banquets, team dinners, and more!

Our History

Summer 2020

Work in Progress

Innovative Design at USC started because of a Facebook post. A few friends from Berkeley recently updated their profile photos to the latest InnoD recruitment theme, and it caught the attention of InnoD at USCs design students. From there, an idea sparked into a conversation, and that conversation was brought to life virtually in Summer 2020 as "WIP."

Fall 2020

Innovative Design

But we wanted to create an inter-school community of students passionate about design, photo and web. So we became the official second addition to the InnoD college family and took on the core values of community, accessibility, and education.

Spring 2022

Innovative Design at UCLA

In that same spirit, senior advisor Colette Zhou and e-board member Josh Lu made it their mission to expand InnoD to one of our neighboring school, UCLA. This year, Innovative Design at UCLA is having its first semester as an official design club on campus (hex class #000000!).
